General Assistants work in the hotel restaurant, bedrooms and public areas, providing high standards of cleanliness and service at all times. It may also be necessary to work in other areas of the hotel i.e. bar and kitchen.
Kitchen Porter/Night Porter, a dual role, involving washing up after each meal and ensuring that the kitchen is left in an immaculate and hygienic state together with ensuring the safety and security of the hotel guests and the building itself throughout the night.
