Flotilla Team

Our flotilla holidays provide the perfect balance between sociable sailing and a feeling of freedom. Working within our flotilla team really allows you to be a part of our customer’s holiday; you will ensure the successful running of an exciting and organised itinerary exploring beautiful and exciting destinations. From daily briefings to punch parties and regattas; flotillas really bring new friends together.

The Flotilla Team consists of a Skipper, Engineer, Host and on family flotillas, a Kids Activity Co-ordinator. Living together aboard your lead boat you’ll be responsible for ensuring your 50-60 guests each week have the holiday of a lifetime.

Every role in the flotilla team provides an unforgettable service which ensures our customers go home with a smile on their face and plenty of treasured memories. From mooring yachts up and fixing maintenance problems, to organising group meals and kids treasure hunts; there is always plenty to do and lots of opportunity to gain new skills.

You’ll need to be naturally positive and self-motivated, with sailing experience and for some roles, RYA qualifications.

Our flotilla season runs from April to October however some of our roles require the team to be available for set-up and lay-up and therefore a longer season. In addition to this we also have a few high season roles available.

Chefs

Catering Team – Chefs

The Head Chef, along with the team of Commis Chefs are responsible for serving a nutritious and filling menu for our hungry guests. The planning, budget, ordering and of course, the preparation and service of food together with maintaining high levels of hygiene, safety and cleanliness in the kitchen is key.

Hotel Management

The Hotel Management team ensure the profitable day-to-day running of the hotel, motivating the team and ensuring company standards are adhered to.

If you have hospitality management experience and are looking to transfer your skills over to the Alps this summer or Winter then we have a number of roles available to suit your skill set and experience level. Whether you start as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Hotel Manager or a Hotel Manager you will have the opportunity to lead, motivate and inspire your team to provide exceptional service to our customers and maintain service levels. You also have the opportunity to develop yourself through our in-house development program, meaning that you are always learning new skills and working towards your career goals whilst being supported by our senior management teams.

 

Hospitality

To work within our Hospitality team, you need to have a genuine passion for customer service, working with children and the willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty for our customers, always looking for opportunities to make their experience that little bit more special and unique.

General Assistants work in the hotel restaurant, bedrooms and public areas, providing high standards of cleanliness and service at all times. It may also be necessary to work in other areas of the hotel i.e. bar and kitchen.

Kitchen Porter/Night Porter, a dual role, involving washing up after each meal and ensuring that the kitchen is left in an immaculate and hygienic state together with ensuring the safety and security of the hotel guests and the building itself throughout the night.

We occasionally have vacancies for Bar Staff, French Speaking Bar Staff and a Handyperson.

 

 

Ski Rep & Tech

Ski Rep & Ski Technician

Working within our Operation’s Team gives you the opportunity to provide our customers with excellent customer service and advice in order to ensure that customer’s expectations are exceeded, financial and service targets are achieved and repeat business is generated.

You will play a vital part in ensuring that our schools go home happy and that they leave with heightened memories of their time with us in the mountains.

We have a hotel program which is based in the French Alps within some well-known resorts such as Les Menuires in the world famous 3 Vallees ski area, Serre Chevalier and one of the biggest French resorts of Alp d’Huez. Football Coach

Could there be any job better than coaching football in an incredible holiday destination? Here’s where you kick-start a brand new career journey, and your best adventure yet.

As a Football Coach, you’ll create fun, varied training activities for children aged 5-16, following the syllabus outlined as part of our partnership with Masterclass Sports Tours. Your role will involve getting to know the children and their families, and tailoring each course to meet individual requirements. You’ll also need a bit of sales flair to promote your service to our customers. And there’ll be an admin element too, as you’ll record each child’s progress, handle payments and manage stock levels.

Along with at least a Level 2 FA Coaching badge (or equivalent), you’ll have demonstrable football coaching experience. You’ll also be great with people and able to communicate well with all ages, while having a flexible, organised approach. Proven experience of working with children is essential.

As part of our Overseas team, you’ll have access to a range of opportunities with support all the way. You’ll be encouraged to develop your skills so your journey with us can be as long and varied as you want it to be. On your initial seasonal contract, you’ll receive full training, accommodation – as well as flights to and from the UK, health cover and a pension scheme.

Swimming Instructor

If you’re a qualified swimming instructor with aspirations to travel, this could be the start of a whole new career adventure.

You’ll be in charge of creating tailored swimming lessons for our customers of all ages and abilities. It’ll be as much about fun as about learning, as you deliver an intensive programme of lessons throughout their stay. You’ll also need a bit of sales flair to promote the service you offer to our customers. There will be some admin too – you’ll need to keep records of your customers’ progression, handle payments and monitor stock and equipment.

Alongside your ASA Level 2 swim teaching qualification (or equivalent), you’ll have demonstrable swim-teaching experience, plus a background of working with children. You’ll also have to hold a current National Pool Lifeguard qualification.
