Some of your day to day duties will include: Supplying our customers with the best dining experience possible, this includes serving breakfast, lunch and dinner also you will be involved in maintaining cleanliness targets within guest rooms and public areas this is key, to ensure our guests have the perfect French get away.
Chateau Kitchen Porter
You will be the kitchens backbone! This job is very important as you will be assisting the chefs throughout the day, the role will include: Assisting with the food preparation, receiving and packing away the food deliveries and ensuring any item that the chef needs is clean and ready. As you can see the Kitchen Porter position is a very important role that will also allow you to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
While the chateau sleeps, you will be our night watch. You will be the first point of contact for any guests who may need you throughout the night. You will patrol the Chateau on an hourly basis to check for any fire hazards, clean public areas and generally ensure the Chateau is in good order. Being our night porter isn’t all safety checks and cleaning, you will also prep for breakfast every morning, so if you want to gain hospitality and kitchen skills this is the role for you!
