Would you like to join an award winning PR team and be responsible for managing the strategic development and implementation of high profile brand-building campaigns and all in-house activations? The PR Manager, reporting into the Head of PR, helps to set the strategy, develop the creative and manage the in-house and agency team to deliver highly impactful, fully integrated campaigns for TUI, Marella Cruises, First Choice and TUI Airways.
As a PR Manager your management of fully integrated, brand building campaigns will help drive wider awareness and consideration of our holidays with both existing and new audiences. Most recently the in-house team has worked on the rebrand from Thomson to TUI, launched brand products and destinations and worked with a variety of high profile talent on multi-channels campaigns.
You will also support the senior team with reputational counsel and issues / crisis management.
This role is being offered on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
As PR Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of three, plus the wider supporting PR team. You will help set the brand PR strategy and will be responsible for developing creative and fully integrated campaigns – this includes brand campaigns with the PR agency and the strategic planning for all tactical, product sustainability and airline activations
You will be responsible for strategic development and delivery of in-house campaigns and provide brand counsel to senior stakeholders to ensure understanding of PR activity and results.
Maintaining and developing excellent media and influencer relationships both inside and outside of travel is key, as well as maintaining and developing excellent relationships with senior stakeholders and presenting activity and results to relevant parties across the business.
You will have experience managing an external agency to ensure they operate as part of an integrated communications team, drawing upon their expertise for strategic advice and operational delivery.
As a key member of the management team you will also monitor the external reputation of our brands and will adapt style and respond to any issues accordingly. Experience of creating statements, Q&As, social media statements to address incidents with the media is also essential.
