Business Area: Commercial & Yield
The Commercial team is responsible for the trading performance of the business. From designing destination, aviation and commercial strategy through working with the Purchasing and Overseas teams to validate approach, through defining product inclusion & campaign messaging within our print & digital media, to programme pricing, yield management & capacity management, Commercial sits at the very heart of everything we do. Encompassing destination ownership, yield management, aviation planning and auxiliary support functions including commercial support & inventory it is involved at every stage of a holiday product’s movement through the business with touch-points from Purchasing through Sales & Marketing to Overseas Operations.
The role of the Ancillaries Executive is to maintain our ancillary system, ensuring that costs and prices are up to date. This will involve translating supplier contracts into the system and creating pricing strategies to optimise sales. The Ancillaries Executive will be working side by side with the Commercial Manager for ancillaries in analysing pick-ups and margins and using pricing, offers and bundles to drive sales as well as protect margin. You will also be responsible for managing the ancillaries queries and ensuring that stakeholders around the business receive the support they require when selling ancillaries
