Almost nothing can beat the experience you’ll gain from your assignments.

However as a future leader, we need to make sure you’re equipped with the tools you’ll need to succeed. You’ll attend four week-long workshops that cover everything from ‘Presenting with Impact’, to ‘Finance’, ‘Leadership Essentials’ and ‘Product Development and Innovation’.

The Programme

The International Graduate Leadership Programme is an 18 month experience which will give you amazing exposure within the world’s leading travel company.

Our objective is to develop future leaders for roles in within the TUI Group, to develop your business and management skills and provide you with a wide variety of experiences across our business.

An Exciting Mix of Day-to-Day Business and Project Work


The Programme starts with a week long induction workshop, followed by your first assignment in one of our major businesses, for example in the UK or in Germany. For the other assignments, our Graduates receive an overview of all possible projects. Out of these they have the opportunity to choose their three favourites and will get assigned to one of them.  You will be completing five different assignments in total which will be an exciting mix of day-to-day business and project work covering all commercial disciplines, such as Product, Pricing, Purchasing, Yield, Contracting, Trading, Sales & Distribution and Business Development.

To get to know our products and customers better, you will also spend two to three weeks working as a tour representative in one of our holiday destinations. In another assignment you will return to a holiday destination for 8 weeks to take over a leadership role for a small team of tour representatives.

Initial training and feedback provide a great opportunity for developing your leadership competences to become a future TUI leader.

Targeted Personal Development


At the end of each assignment you will receive feedback from your line manager and every three months you will have development talks with your Group Development Manager to review and update your Personal Development Plan. Additionally, each graduate is matched to an individual mentor at the start of the programme who will provide informal advice, guidance and support.

Throughout the programme you will be able to attend workshops and seminars and have many opportunities to develop your network both with Graduates and TUI Group colleagues all over the world.

After approximately one year, you will attend a Development Centre to help identify your personal development needs and to inform your ongoing career development.

International Graduate Leadership Programme

On our International Graduate Leadership Programme, you can expect real business exposure, key relationships with senior people, and world-class training with one of the world’s leading travel groups. That’s everything you need to kickstart your career as one of TUI Group’s international leaders.

What you can look forward to

You will complete on a series of three-month assignments to build your experience across our different businesses. You can expect an exciting mix of day-to-day business and project work that’s guaranteed to fire your passion for TUI Group.

You’ll be liaising with senior managers in different locations around the world. What’s more, you’ll spend two weeks working as a representative in one of our main holiday destinations, interacting with our customers and understanding for yourself exactly how we make travel experiences special.

What we are looking for in you

You’ll bring a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) from a university or a business school, ideally in Business Administration, International Management or Economics. Plus, you’ll have graduated in the last two years or by the start of the programme.

With English language skills to business standard and fluency in one other language, you will bring the flexibility to be internationally mobile. As well as three months’ international experience (work experience, internship or study), you will also have six months’ commercial work experience (ideally including dealing with customers).

Innovative, entrepreneurial and motivated, you’ll bring a professional approach and strong leadership potential. What’s more, with excellent customer focus and strong analytical and communication skills, you’re suitably adaptable and emotionally resilient for a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of €38,000 per annum, 30 days’ holiday, travel discounts and concessions plus financial support whilst you’re on assignment (rental allowance, cost of living allowance, etc.)
