Meet Grace

Crystal Ski Holidays Customer Service Advisor

In a nutshell, what does your job involve?

My main job role is aftersales. This involves dealing with customer after they have booked their holiday and before they travel. Helping with any questions they may have, adding extras to their booking or helping cancel their booking. Depending on the call or the email your dealing with will depend on how you deal with it. It can vary quite a bit as each customer will have different questions. We also support the rest of the customer service team and the sales team helping them wherever we can whether that be helping log emails or getting cheques sent out to customers.

Tell us a little bit about your back ground? When did you start working for Crystal Ski Holidays?

I have worked in different parts of the travel industry for the last 7 years. Some of this time I was overseas working on campsites as a couriers and a team leader dealing with a groups of 20 couriers and dealing with customers from all over Europe. I originally worked a winter season with Crystal Ski Holidays back in 2010 before I went overseas. After I returned from my season I re-joined Crystal Ski Holidays and have now been here for the last 2 and a half years in this time I have been able to working in a few different team across the sales centre. This had allowed me the opportunity to learn about the different sides of the contact centre.

What do you enjoy most about working at Crystal Ski Holidays Contact Centre?

I enjoy how we work as a team and the social aspect of the office. Within our team we support each other and push each other to get tasks done. This could be clearing the calls waiting or clearing the mail boxes. We keep moral high during busy peak periods in winter and in the quieter summer months. We like to socialise in the office whether this be end of season drinks, someone’s birthday or just having a laugh in the office between calls.
