In a nutshell, what does your job involve?
How to put this briefly, everything & anything.
Luckily for me I have a job role with a lot of variety. I get to answer any questions customers have via email and calls, help customers with any assistance requirements and requests as well as providing advice when they need to cancel their holidays.
I also support my colleagues in Sales and Customer Service by meeting their admin requirements and speak with our suppliers overseas and here in the UK. I work with the charity we support Disability Snowsports UK in booking their yearly holidays and book late deal ski holidays for my colleagues.
Tell us a little bit about your back ground? When did you start working for Crystal Ski Holidays?
As a child I always wanted a legal career and after graduating with my law degree it was time to take the next step in life. I decided to work and continue my studies with a further course and that is when I relocated from the South East coast and began working for Crystal Ski Holidays in 2011. The experience and skills I gained through my studies made a great foundation for my current role. I learnt that my real passion was for helping people and that the skills I had were easily transferable and would help me to do this in my job.
What do you enjoy most about working at Crystal Ski Holidays Contact Centre?
I’d have to say, the most enjoyable part of my job is working with the team. We know we are in it together through the fast paced ski season and the slower time of summer. We are all different but still support each other and have fun doing it. No matter what is going on, the team’s sense of humour shines through.
Name 3 things in life that makes you smile?
My allotment, there is nothing better than being outside and the sense of achievement each year.
My friends, everyone has a different personality and it’s their little quirks which make the time I spend with each of them special.
Travelling, who doesn’t smile when they are on their next adventure.
