Swansea Contact Centre – Senior Customer Service Advisor

In a nutshell, what does your job involve?

As part of the third party flying team, I handle complex bookings where we as a company use different airlines and accommodations to build custom packages for direct customers and agents.

Tell us a little bit about your back ground? When did you start working for The Swansea Contact Centre?

My journey started in 2016 where I started as a Customer Service Advisor (entry level) in the Pre-travel department, and slowly grew my knowledge in other departments, such as Welfare, Weddings and Holiday Change.  Earlier this year, 2018 I became a Senior Advisor in After Travel but I have just moved over to the 3rd Party Flight team which I love!

What do you enjoy most about working at the Contact Centre?

I enjoy working in the contact centre because I believe there is a good understanding with the management team and all colleagues.  We are all willing to go the extra smile to deliver excellent customer service.  I enjoy the working relationships we all have and how we work together to achieve targets, it’s a really great environment and there is a great vibe here!

Everyone is willing to help one another no matter what the task is.  Between us all we have a great wealth of knowledge and this is because you always get the opportunity to learn more and develop yourself.

Name three things in life that makes you smile?

Being able to deliver great customer service to our customers by helping them with their queries and being able to learn every day.

Working in a positive environment, as we spend most of our time in work so it is important we feel happy and safe in work as well as encouraged and motivated.

My family – They give me motivation and strength to always want to achieve better in life and achieve my goals.
